Myles K. Sebelowitz, 75, of New Hartford, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, February 10, 2015, with his loving wife by his side, in Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare Center, New Hartford.
He was born on February 21, 1939, in Rome, the son of the late Herman J. and Rose Skoletsky Sebelowitz, and was a graduate of Rome City Schools. On February 21, 1990, Myles married the former RoseAnn Kirch in Ellenville, NY.
Prior to his retirement in 1990, he was employed with the New York State Department of Mental Hygiene for several years. Myles was a member of the Roman Hathaway Masonic Lodge, member of Scottish Right 32nd Degree Shriners, member of Knights of Pythias, member of Idiots Club, member of the Order of Eastern Star, member of Boonville #2158 B.P.O.E. and member and former NYS Grand Chaplain of the International Order of Odd Fellows.
Myles is survived by his wife, RoseAnn, and many friends throughout the years and lasting bonds he established through his dedication to the organizations.
His graveside service will be 12:30 p.m., Thursday, February 12, 2015, in Adas Israel Cemetery, Wood Road, Whitesboro.
Shiva will be observed privately by the family.
